The activities will be held by sports experts and professionals. The masterclasses and practical lessons will be held by professors of the University of Bologna and certified coaches with the Italian Federal 3° level certification.

CUSB Gender Equity team and European Champion (Women division)
CUSB Shout player since 2016, Anna was also a captain in 2018 and 2019. She is a player of the Italian Women National Team since 2016. In 2019, she joined Raleigh Phoenix for the US Nationals. Since 2019, she has collaborated with CUSB promoting Gender Equity, being a part of several projects to create a more inclusive ultimate environment in Bologna. In 2020 she started a PhD program in feminist critical theory.

Unibo Sport Sciences and Methodology professor
Associate Professor of Sport Sciences at the Department of Biomedical and Neuromotor Sciences at the University of Bologna. His scientific interests are in the field of methodology of sports training and performance analysis in team sports. Since 2013 he has collaborated with the Flying Disc department of CUSB and heads strength and conditioning for the team CUSB Shout.

FIFD Trainer of 3°level and CUSB Women program coordinator
Laura is one of the most impactful role models in Italian women’s ultimate. She has been playing for CUSB since 2007, taking on different leadership roles on the team over the years. She worked full-time for CUSB from 2016 to 2018, focusing on ultimate frisbee development, and is currently the CUSB Women program coordinator. Laura is also a former member of the Italian Federation Flying Disc Board and is a certified 3° level trainer.

CUSB athlete since 2009, Andrea has always joined Cusb La Fotta and Team ITA in the most important competitions of the year. During this time he started studying physical conditioning, combining his new found passion with his studies. Due to that reason he began to coach and train more and more kids with CUSB’s school program, ending up in training shout in 2018 winning the EUCF.

Arturo has been captain of the Offence line of CUSB La Fotta and Team ITA in the most important international competitions (EUCF, WUCC, WUU24, WJUC, EYUC). Moreover, Arturo was the head coach of U20 Team ITA (European gold medal).
He achieved his master degree in Sports Sciences at Unibo and now he is the coach of university and junior CUSB teams.

Master’s degree in Sport Sciences and European Champion (Staff)
Ottavio achieved his Master degree in Sports Sciences at the University of Bologna. In 2019 he became field-conditioning trainer of CUSB La Fotta, winning the gold medal at the EUCF held in Caorle. He also joined the staff of the U24 ITA National Team, winner of the bronze medal at the WU24 in Heidelberg. Between 2019 and 2020 he started working on the conditioning program for CUSB junior teams.

Ultimate Frisbee Elite trainer formation and EUF Head Coach coordinator
CUSB athlete since 1998, Davide participated in almost all the national and international ultimate events of the last twenty years. Winner of the Open MVP award at WUGC 2012, he enriched his coaching experience with Team ITA achieving a bronze medal at EYUC 2011, a silver and bronze medal at WU24 2018, 2019. Coordinator of the EUF Train the Trainer program, now he is didactic tutor and adjunct professor of Flying Disc at the University of Bologna and Technical coordinator of CUSB Flying Disc.

CUSB athlete since 2010, Andrea has participated in the most important international competitions with CUSB La Fotta and Team ITA in Canada, US, Australia and Japan. His defensive skills led him to become Captain of the defence line for several years on both teams. Now he’s a Sports Sciences student and U24 coach at CUSB.

Professional FIGC athletic trainer
Professional FIGC athletic trainer, Paolo achieved two master degrees in Science and Techniques of the sport activities at the University of Bologna and in Theories and Techniques of Soccer Athletic Training at the University of Pisa.
He is a member of the conditioning and strength staff at SPAL, collaborating on the junior program. He is also a PE school teacher and follows professional and non-professional athletes in off-season periods.

CUSB athlete since 2015, Gaia rapidly got her spot in CUSB Shout team and participated in some of the most important competitions in the US and Europe. Her strong determination to improve her tactic and strategic skills led her to become Captain of the defence line in the last two years of both her Club and Team ITA. Now she’s a Sports Science student and the U17-U24 coach and coordinator of women’s ultimate at CUSB.

Giovanni

FIFD Trainer of 3° level and European Champion (Open division)
Giovanni Santucci (Cioppo) is the Spirit and Defense Captain for CUSB La Fotta.
Started playing in 2010 and never looked back. He took part in every major tournament with La Fotta and coached Italy’s U20 national team winning a European Championship in 2017.
He worked on his craft and skills to become the Best Defender in Europe in 2019 after winning EUCF for the first time with CUSB La Fotta. Now he studies to become an Osteopath.

Marinella
Vaccari

Trainer of Olympic athletes
National Specialist Trainer of FIDAL (Italian Athletics Federation), she has trained athletes that have participated in the most important sports competitions: Olympics, World’s Champs, European Cups, Mediterranean Games, European Juniores and Absolute Champs. From 1988 to 2000 she was the Regional technical manager of discus throw and weight. She was awarded with the palm of honor for sporting merits by the Italian National Olympic Committee.
