CUSB Academy
CUSB Academy is the international camp dedicated to élite ultimate frisbee for under 25 players.
The goal of the camp is to train young athletes with cutting-edge methods of training, athletic preparation and technical-tactical analysis. The Academy aims to spread best practices and deepen the performance model of ultimate frisbee with expert figures, working in class and on the field with Unibo university professors and CUSB coaches of international level.
The camp includes an intensive 5-day program, where athletes will have the opportunity to participate in theoretical masterclasses, workshops on the field and in the weight room.

HOW TO REACH
• By car: 500m from exit number 10 of the Bologna ring road
• From the airport: 10 km far from Terrapieno, 10 min by car/taxi. There is also a direct bus from the airport to the central station (6€)
• From the railway station: you can take a taxi for more or less 11€/car
ACCOMODATION
• Camping on the field: dinners and breakfasts will be at the Terrapieno gym, it’s also available for sleeping
• Bungalow, B&B, Hotels: near Terrapieno there are several hotel/B&B/ecc. A suggestion list of alternative accomodation solutions can be requested at cusb.flyingdisc@unibo.it
Lessons and practices
The camp is an opportunity to deepen technical-tactical knowledge and to train with new methodologies. Theoretical lessons will be paired with workshops on the field and matches.
Fields and gyms
The spaces in which the camp activities take place: natural and synthetic grass fields, gyms, weight room and swimming pool. These are the facilities managed by the CUSB that will host the Academy.
Tour and visits
The university city of Bologna will be the setting of the Academy. The tour and guided visit of the historic center and the university area will be accompanied by traditional food.
